A bit of history: Femficatio is the blog of Coal Publishing. Coal publishes new and innovative works from Women of Colour around the world.  

Femficatio is part of the Global Feminist Voice and Force Movement. Feminists around the world, working to create a feminism inclusive of all ideas, all art, all cultures and radical, humanistic and life sustaining political ideologies that tender the feminine as source.  Women, trans, men – all ethnicities, all sexualities – all people working toward better communities and countries, where women and difference is respected and represented.

Feminism is the protection of the sacred human – our art – our culture – our communities – our realities – allowing all people a place of prominence.

Coal Feminist Review will be a quarterly feminist journal of diasporic culture, launching in February 2013.  We need help in order to see this to fruition.  A woman of colour only feminist journal, Coal Feminist Review aims to unite women under a Global Feminism that is proactive and promotes excellence.  We need to raise £5,000 to see this vision come to fruition!

Femficatio also Forums, short films, Femficatio publications, web portals, events – Femficatio is open to all feminist women worldwide – and we want to showcase this vision in the best possible way!

And you will be featured on Femficatio, you and your work, no matter how little the contribution.

Prove Feminism isn’t just for the West! We can unite under a global perspective!
